Overview
If you're in the market for an flashy Gi with comfort to match, look no further than the Gameness Elite. It top features a sewn in rash guard, which feels like you're rolling in a silk bathrobe. It comes in two colors, sinister looking black with red contrast stitching, or a more subtle white with contrast stitching. In my personal opinion I think they should offer this product with and without the rash guard lining. This would give people the option of purchasing this Gi at a lower price point.
The Fit
The Gameness Elite's top features a shorter skirt than that of the Keiko Raca Limited Edition. The fit is similar to a Koral, with the top being a bit roomy. Out of the package the top seemed too big, and since the Gi is advertised as pre-shrunk, I was worried. Various sources all show that the Gi barely shrinks if washed in cold water and hung out to dry. However putting the top in the dryer on high heat shortened the sleeves considerably, and bringing the chest in enough to make this Gi fit perfectly. The pants are lightweight ripstop with a flat tape drawstring.
Durability
The Gi top is built to last. Lots of double stitching, and after rolling hard in it for quite a few sessions, there is no evidence of tearing anywhere. Any concerns about the rashguard lining tearing or pulling did not show themselves in my testing.
The Cool Factor
This Gi features vibrant contrast stitching and a sewn in rash guard. Its about as cool and flashy as you can get.
Other notes:
Although the Gi is definitely heavier than most, the rashguard lining does a good job wicking away sweat.
Even when worn in the summer, I never felt any hotter in this Gi than my lighter weight Gis.
